Easily add teammates, freelancers, or guests to your Hourspent team. Follow this simple guide to build your team, assign roles, and start working together in one secure space.
Building a strong team is the heart of getting work done on Hourspent. Whether you're inviting in-house teammates, freelance talents, or collaborators, here’s how to bring everyone into your team space.
Log in to your Hourspent account at hourspent.com
Click on the Workspace tab from your dashboard
If you've already created a team:
Click on the team name you want to add people to
If you haven’t created a team yet:
Click on the "Add Team+" button, give your team a name, and click on the "Add Team" button.
Once inside your team space:
Click the "+" button under the Team section.
Copy the invitation link or enter the email address or addresses of the person or people you want to invite.
Choose their role:
Admin – Full access, including managing team members.
Member – Can collaborate on projects and tasks.
Guest – Limited access, great for external collaborators or stakeholders.
Click Send Invitation
Tip: You can invite multiple people at once by separating emails with commas.
You’ll see pending invitations under your Team Members list.
Once someone accepts the invite, their status will change to Active and you'll need to grant them access to the team.
Once your team members join:
Start creating projects, assigning tasks, sharing updates, and working together in real time.
All chats and files shared in your team space are end-to-end encrypted for maximum privacy.
