The Doer plan is an entry-level plan tailored for newbies, beginners, and starters who are interested in freelancing. It provides essential features to help users get started on Hourspent while maintaining a straightforward structure.

Key Features of the Doer Plan

1. No Free Proposal Credit
   • Freelancers do not receive free proposal credits simply by choosing the Doer plan.
   • However, you can earn free proposal credits when individuals you invite to Hourspent have their freelance applications approved or when your referrals upgrade to the Prime plan.
2. No Credit Roll Over
   • Any unused free proposal credits for the month will not roll over to the following month. Use them within the given period to maximize their value.
3. 20% Service Fee
   • A 20% service fee or commission is charged on all earnings while on the Doer plan.
4. Smart Proposal Credit Usage
   • Free proposal credits are deducted only when you submit proposals and engage with clients or project owners. This ensures credits are used efficiently.
5. Interview Scheduling
   • Schedule interviews to have your area of expertise, communication abilities, and problem-solving skills assessed.
     
6. Project Alerts
   • Receive notifications about available projects every weekend to help you stay updated.
7. Profile Upgrades
   • If your freelance application is approved, your profile will automatically upgrade to Level 3.
8. Marketplace Access
   • Submit proposals for Level 2 and Level 3 projects in the Hourspent Marketplace upon application approval.

How the Doer Plan Works

1. Application Process
   • Choosing the Doer plan does not guarantee that your freelancer application will be approved.
   • The application process includes steps such as completing your freelancer bio, providing identity verification, showcasing your portfolio, and specifying your area of expertise. Skipping any of these steps can negatively affect your application’s approval.
2. Vetting Process
   • All applicants undergo a thorough vetting process. Selecting the Doer plan does not bypass or reduce the requirements for approval. Meeting all the stipulated requirements is essential to improve your chances.
3. Earning Credits
   • You do not automatically receive proposal credits with the Doer plan. Proposal credits can either be purchased or earned through referral activities, such as inviting others to join Hourspent and having them successfully complete their applications or upgrade their plans.
4. Interview Scheduling and Cancellation
   • Freelancers on the Doer plan can schedule interviews. If you decide not to proceed with a scheduled interview, you can cancel it before the interview date and choose a new date.
   • Alternatively, you can upgrade to the Highflier plan for enhanced benefits.

Important Considerations

• Maintaining Proposal Credits: To continue benefiting from all the Doer plan features, ensure you have at least one Doer proposal credit available.
• No Skipping of Requirements: Choosing the Doer plan does not mean any step in the application process will be skipped or ignored. All requirements, including expertise, portfolio, and identity verification, are mandatory.
