If you are 18 years and above and live in any of the countries that have formal diplomatic relations with the USA, you are eligible to register, hire and work on Hourspent.
Notwithstanding, it is your responsibility to ensure that you obtain the rights to work in the country of your residence. In addition to that, we cannot be held liable for any illegal clearance, and may not have the adequate resources to provide suggestions on whether you can use Hourspent in the place you are living.
We advise residents and visitors to the following countries to desist from registering and transacting on Hourspent, in compliance with the U.S. Law:
- Cuba, including citizens of Cuba globally
- Iran
- North Korea
- Syria
- The Republic of Crimea
- Any other country or area where this restriction applies
Hourspent is not associated with, and rejects any negotiation for business with SDNs (Specially Designated Nationals) who may not be nationals, residents, or visitors to the afore-listed countries, but are groups, entities, and individuals blacklisted by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

Freelancers and Employers or clients suspended on Hourspent remain banned from the platform. Any attempt to return with a new or false account will be frustrated by the swift closure of such an account.
